For engineers frustrated in looking to determine what size bosses to design for their mating components, they can now have a useful tool with our Screw-It testing device. The Screw-It has a series of bosses, each boss being .002" larger than the previous. The engineer can insert self-tapping screws into the bosses to test for the feel that he/she is looking for. 

Screw-Its can be manufactured in any injection-moldable material. Since shrinkages vary from resin to resin and with filled and unfilled materials, engineers can design with their finished fit and feel in mind.
